Tom Kleinschmidt is a Berlin-born photographer based in the UK. His work is direct and pared back, exploring intimacy, desire and human connection through images with an underlying tension. He came to photography through casting in Berlin, initially photographing talent before developing his own practice. That starting point continues to inform his interest in people and the relationship between subject and camera. His clients include Adidas, Carhartt, Filippa K, Rains, Timberland and Vans. His editorial work appears in ICON, i-D, Interview, Numéro and Vogue.
