Who is responsible for your information?
LMC Worldwide LTD is the controller for the personal information described in this notice. Registered in England & Wales, company number 08372870. Registered office: 11 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5BY, United Kingdom. VAT number: GB202254461.
For privacy enquiries, rights requests or complaints, email bookings@lmc.world or write to our registered office, marked “Privacy”.
What this notice covers
This notice covers our talent-management website, enquiries, portfolio submissions and the information used to showcase represented artists. The separate Production website and third-party websites have their own notices. It is not a substitute for the specific information supplied with a booking, employment relationship or newsletter signup.
Information we use and where it comes from
When you email us, we receive the contact details, correspondence and attachments you send. Booking enquiries may include your organisation, the artists or services requested, dates, locations and project requirements. Portfolio submissions may include professional history and links to your work. These details are provided by you or someone organising an enquiry on your behalf.
Our website displays artists’ professional names, biographies, locations, client lists, work and credits supplied by the artists, their representatives and the original project sources. This may include names and images of other contributors or featured people.
Website requests can generate technical records such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser details and errors. The website is hosted on Laravel Cloud. Portfolio images and films are delivered through Laravel Object Storage, and Cloudflare supports content delivery and website security. These services receive technical information when your browser requests a page or media file. There is currently no public enquiry form, online checkout or newsletter signup on this site; enquiry links open your own email application.
Please send only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send health information or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. If a service requires it, we will explain the need, safeguards and applicable legal basis separately.
Why we use information and our legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and organising services: taking steps at your request before a contract, or performing a contract with you. When you contact us on behalf of an organisation, our legitimate interest is communicating with its representatives and arranging professional services.
- Portfolio submissions and representation enquiries: our legitimate interest in assessing professional suitability and responding to the submission; contractual steps where relevant.
- Publishing artist profiles and credited work: our legitimate interest in promoting represented artists and accurately attributing their work, subject to appropriate permissions, contractual arrangements and consideration of the people concerned.
- Operating and securing the website: our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable service, diagnosing faults and preventing misuse. This does not replace consent where device tracking requires it.
- Required business records: compliance with applicable legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations where relevant.
If we introduce a new purpose for using personal information, we will explain it through this notice or information provided when it is collected.
Who may receive information
Relevant staff, artists and people coordinating a booking may receive information necessary to respond to your request. Hosting, email and other contracted service providers may process information for us. Professional advisers and authorities may receive information where needed for advice, legal obligations or legal claims. Website infrastructure providers include Laravel Cloud for hosting and object storage, and Cloudflare for content delivery and security. These providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Enquiry emails are handled through our email service rather than a public website form.
Analytics and newsletters
Google Analytics and advertising tracking are not installed on this website. Before it is enabled, we will identify the provider, information collected, purpose, retention and any overseas processing, and provide the applicable controls. Optional tracking will stay off until consent is given unless a documented, applicable exemption permits another approach.
Newsletter signup is managed separately and is not implemented here. Its signup must provide privacy information and explain marketing choices; any marketing emails must offer an unsubscribe route. Making an enquiry does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter.
Overseas processing
Hosting and content-delivery providers operate international infrastructure. Cloudflare explains that security-cookie data may be processed in the United States by default; processing locations can depend on the service and its configuration. See Cloudflare’s privacy information for its processing and transfer arrangements.
For information about processing locations or safeguards relevant to information you have provided to LMC, contact us using the details above.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as necessary for the purpose concerned. The criteria are whether an enquiry is still active, whether a professional relationship continues, the need to deal with follow-up questions or legal claims, and any accounting or other legal retention duties. Artist profiles are reviewed against continuing representation and permissions. Technical records should be retained only for the period needed for security and diagnosis.
Retention varies according to the information and purpose. You can contact us to ask about the retention applying to a particular enquiry, submission or record. We do not use an analytics retention period because optional analytics are not installed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of information, or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can object at any time to use of your personal information for direct marketing. Rights are subject to the legal conditions and exceptions that apply to each request.
Contact us using the details above. We will usually respond to rights requests within one month; if a lawful extension is needed, we will explain it within that period. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity.
You can browse without sending an enquiry. Information necessary to respond or arrange a service is voluntary, but we may be unable to process your request without it. This website does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
Complaints
Email bookings@lmc.world, with “Data protection complaint” in the subject, or write to our registered office. We will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days, investigate appropriately and keep you informed of the outcome. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner or, where EU GDPR applies, the relevant supervisory authority in your country of residence, work or the alleged infringement.
Updates
We will update this notice when our processing changes and provide additional information at the point of collection where needed.
